Touch ups

In the plan

It’s been too long that the design has changed, time to turn the table over again. The good news is that some of the components are already ordered (the windows for example), so the redesigning has to stop eventually πŸ˜€

The eaves are gone again πŸ˜€ I had a chat with the inspection officer again and he said that the rule about objects pointing out from the frame was open to interpretation and I think better safe than sorry.

Besides the finishing changes I decided to put the cooker out on the open. I also moved the back wall a bit – now the bathroom fits 70 * 90 cm OR 80 * 80 cm shower stall. 70 * 90 cm model frees up a little bit of much needed elbow room in the bathroom without compromising the wash space.

Other news

I transferred the website to WordPress to ease up the updating and did a little polishing to the layout at the same time. The comment engine has changed and the search function is new – otherwise the content is pretty much the same. Let me know if you run into any bugs.

The project is starting to feel really funny, I mean all the stress is gone. It’s super weird that the building is going to start in a few weeks. The trailer should arrive to Finland next week and the framing beams are ready for pick up on the following. I’m so unprepared – but as I said, unstressed. It might be because pieces have finally started to lock in their places and no time for second guessing anymore. It’s nice πŸ™‚
